Two Crowd-Gathering Events in Early March

Crowds are a particular crew. And Fort Myers Beach and the surrounding area are not unfamiliar with them, either.  They’ve got personality, and in some sense crowds can often act and move like one single entity. There’s something about them that draws together the more unique personalities. Furthermore, some crowds may look the same, but the reason for gathering could be for quite polar opposite reasons.  While not extreme, these two events exemplify the two reasons.

Fiddler on the Roof

This classic musical is known well across the continent. It is a classic that many esteemed high schools attempt, and even some more accomplished professionals have trouble with.  The story follows that of a Jewish man, Tevye, who has strained relationships with three of his five daughters as their love interests begin to deviate from their religious customs and heritage. Follow this performance of the must-see classic “Fiddler on the Roof” in Artis-Naples, Naples,  Florida, just south of Fort Myers Beach Florida. With tickets being on the pricier end (around $280 per head), you can expect a show to remember. Show starts at 8:00 PM on March 12, 13, and 14. Safe to say this crowd is in for an emotional rollercoaster.

St. Patrick’s Day Trolley Event

Some might like something more light. Something more lively-- this is another reason why crowds gather.  Here comes the 5th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Trolley Event, where participants board exclusive trolleys to do some pub crawling! Trolleys will take you through numerous locations that offer specialty drinks only available to participants for only $2.50. Special gifts are given at check-in. Tickets are only $17, and only available to 21+. Get your ticket now are spots are limited and are most definitely expected to sell out.

While both events draw crowds, the only thing they truly have in common is that there will be people and music.  Even then, the crowds and music will be different. So, whatever brings you to Fort Myers Beach, FL. be sure to check in at Best Western Plus Beach Resort, where our spacious rooms give you just enough privacy to unwind and relax.
