After a year sometimes we can feel a little tired. The words might even be “burnt out.” Sure there’s that feeling of dysfunction or even semi-functionality. Overall, it’s just dull. That shouldn’t be the case in a new year, and it definitely should not be the case in a place like Fort Myers, Florida. Here are three ways to bounce back into yourself and be ready for 2019.
Sunset Kayak Tours
While this is a weekly event, there is something spectacular about the first few sunsets of the year. The clarity of the horizon attracts our minds. The GAEA Guides take you on a tour of the Caloosahatchee River with a great view of the Florida sunset. Catch this sunset on Friday, January 25, 2019, from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Reservations are required at $50 a head, but it is all worth it for this breathtaking scenic aqua experience.
Yoga in Nature
This recurring event for 2019, is also a great start to get reconnected, but with different elements. Yoga in Nature sets you in the middle of Mother Nature herself guided with a series of relaxing yoga poses. Then afterwards, join in for a quick meditation, or take a stroll along the local trails. Spots are $15 a head, or free if you sign up for Calusa’s Wellness Membership.
Eli Young Band
The well-known Eli Young Band is going to be bringing their country music to Fort Myers! On Friday, February 1, 2019, at 7:00 PM the Eli Young Band performs at The Ranch Concert Hall & Saloon. Tickets range from $25 to $50. Join them on this evening as they perform their award-winning music. Something not to miss for country music fans!
