Three Events to Stay Warm in December

A little beer and wine can help warm you up and keep the blood flowing. Though, we are sure staying warm is rarely an issue in Florida.  These three events in the Fort Myers (Beach) area will sure do the trick if you are in doubt, though. All the while, these events also bring a taste of the holidays, too!

Hops for the Holidays

Join the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association for their Holiday Party: Hops for the Holidays! On Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 6 PM to 9 PM, holiday festivities will happen at Palm City Brewing.  The event features Palm City Brewing Beer and a local food truck, there is plenty of fun to be had. If beer isn’t quite your brew that evening, other beverage choices will be available as well.  Come show off your best holiday outfit for a chance to win a prize!

Vino Picasso

Okay, so maybe beer and holiday fun is a little much for you.  That’s okay, we get it. Alternatively, if wine, art, and painting are more your style, then we think you will enjoy this Paint-n-Sip at Royal Park. On Saturday, December 15, 2018, from 2 PM to 4 PM join some like-minded individuals for a glass of wine, painting, and a sincere good time.  Registration comes with a $35 fee, you should have to bring your own wine, but the therapeutic stress relief is more than worth it.

The Car Show

December is all about nostalgia. Walks down memory lane remind us of when we were kids and when we enjoyed the innocence and spirited nature of the holidays.  For some of us, that’s sitting down, sipping eggnog and talking about the past. For the rest, it’s about seeing the past in the form of cars at the Caribbean Cruise-In Car Shows.  Monthly, on every third Monday of the Month (in December, that’s on Monday the 17th), the car show comes to Main Street in Fort Myers Beach from 4 PM to 7 PM. Admission is free, and there will always be live music to enjoy the look and feel of these classic cars.
