3 Events to Kickstart Your Summer

Summer is the perfect time to enjoy a variety of events. The days are longer and the weather is warm which means more time to explore events that are happening in and around Fort Myers Beach, Florida. Whether you are just passing through, on vacation, or live here these are three events that you will not want to miss out on.

Water Wizardry Summer Camp

When school is out, the Wild Wizards are in session. Campers aged 6 to 12 will explore the “living laboratory” of the Edison and Ford Winter Estates while learning from their Wild Wizards about launching water rockets, engineering aquatic vessels and more during the one week Water Wizardry Summer Camp. The camp runs from June 17 - 21 and whether you are local or just on vacation, this is the perfect opportunity for you aspiring Water Wizards to learn in a fun and hands-on environment.

Oma’s Heart Annual Ladies Tea

Cape Coral located 20 minutes from the heart of Fort Myers Beach, Florida offers a wide variety of programs, activities, and special events throughout the year including Oma’s Heart Annual Ladies Tea. Attend the annual event on Saturday, June 23 between 1pm-4pm to enjoy an authentic “Afternoon Tea.” A variety of vendors, games, raffles, and outstanding speakers will also be at the event so be sure to stop by.

Dr. Piper Center - Faith in Action 7th Annual Tea Party

Be sure to attend the Faith in Action 7th Annual Tea Party on Friday, June 21 where they will be highlighting their Faith in Action Transportation Program. Help the program designed to help elderly who have no transportation, temporary or long-term, who may need a ride to medical appointments. Help the cause and enjoy the company for an afternoon tea from 1:30pm-4:30pm that includes Scones, Tea Sandwiches, and Desserts alongside a silent auction, raffle, and fashion show.
