Two Kid-Friendly Events to Bring the Family Closer Together

Spring has broken, and the world gets brighter each passing day. Especially here at Fort Myers Beach.  There is more and more reason each and every day to go outside, get some sun, and most importantly: spend time with family.  This is especially true for new growing families. To help you on your journey in building these very important memories, check out these two events to add to your memory bank:

Second Chances

The title says it all, this musical is all about Second Chances. Odd, quirky characters join forces to save their little thrift shop from a seemingly greedy landlord.  It’s a testament to how all different walks of life are entitled to their second chance. Join everyone at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre in Fort Myers from any date from April 4th to May 12th. This is a show you wouldn’t want to miss.  The show comes with a variety of prices as you have the options between matinees and evening shows, and on top of the the option of having lunch/dinner served alongside. This is the perfect show to instill some deeper values in some of the younger ones in the family; and even a good reminder to those of us needing re-centering.

Carnival for a Cure

Many, if not all, of us have been touched by or know someone who has been touched by cancer at some point in their lives.  Whether direct, or indirect, the impact is true, and it can’t be argued against. So, it is only natural that we do whatever we can to fight against such a relentless and unforgiving force.  The American Cancer Society is hosting a raise funds to do just that: fight cancer. At Carnival for a Cure, the Bonita Springs and Estero community and businesses come together as part of the 2019 Relay For Life. Included in this event will be entertainment, games, food, and all of it in the name of fun.  Entry is by donation (though generosity is greatly appreciated), on Saturday April 27, 2019 at Bonita Spring High School in Bonita Springs Florida.

Doing good can be exhausting. No joke. Putting yourself out there and doing good for the community is absolutely exhausting.  That, or any sort of cathartic release can definitely take a toll on the mental and physical state. Take a dip in our outdoor pool  and then retire to your comfortable room and bed to get a full-night’s rest.
