The Spirit of the Season Sings for Fort Myers

Established in 2001, Spirit of the Gulf is world champion chorus comprised of female-only singers. The chorus currently has over 120 singers of all ages, from all walks of life, and all parts of the Florida state — even some snowbirds from "up North!” Spirit of the Gulf specializes in barbershop acapella and, amongst countless awards and honors, has been voted Most Entertaining Chorus at three International competitions in Las Vegas, Hawaii, and Denver. 
 
On December 6, Spirit of the Gulf will present its annual holiday spectacular, Spirit of the Season. The ladies will be performing music from the film, The Polar Express, alongside other popular, classic, and traditional Christmas songs. The show will also feature performances by world-renowned barbershop quartets — St. Charles, Missouri's Vocal Spectrum and St. Louis' Double Date. Singing with Spirit of the Gulf as well is Bling!, another beloved local south Florida-based, all-female quartet and 2015 International Sweet Adelines Gold Medal winners.
