Summer Camps For The Kids

School’s out for summer! That’s what the kids thought… Summer camp, basically fun summer school for the kids.  They’ll learn, but they won’t feel like there’s an immense amount of homework or listening to the teach talk about something that doesn’t seem important to them.  In many cases, summer camps like to game-ify the learning so it feels like a game instead of school!

Science Summer Camp

Is your kid a big learner of the sciences? Always curious about how and why things work? And is this more particular to living things out in nature? Well your child may just be a budding scientist with a focus on biology or chemistry.  If you are willing to fork up the money ($250/head), this might be a great way to keep your child inspired on science and be the next Thomas Edison of their generation. This River Ecology & Chemistry Summer Camp is a week long start on July 22, 2019 at 9:00 AM!

Roving Robots Summer Camp

Maybe your child is more focused on the mechanics of things. For example, are they always working with their hands? Are they always intrigued by puzzles on how and why things work together to accomplish a task? They might be the next greatest inventor of the century -- if you just let them.  While the pricing might be a bit hard to bite, the value of education has never been higher. This Roving Robots Summer Camp will entice your kids to get started with their hands and build a robot!

These Edison Camps are something you don’t always see. There’s a lot of need for this kind of learning and these camps are the right places to send your kids! And while your kids are away, and if you’re not originally from the area, what better place than to stay at the Best Western Plus Beach Resort Hotels with an oceanfront view of the beach? Book your stay, and come hang out at our private outdoor pool, away from the public, but close enough to see the ocean waves crash on the shore.
