GET THE LED OUT: A CELEBRATION OF LED ZEPPELIN

Led Zeppelin transformed rock and roll in the 70s, releasing four albums of perfect classic rock that revolutionized what it meant to be “heavy.” They broke up following the death of their legendary drummer, John Bonham, and while every other member has had a long and storied career since, there is nothing better than the music that they made together.

It’s been nearly five decades since Stairway to Heaven, and while Jimmy Paige still shreds and Robert Plant is still singing beautifully, you have the sense that they’ve gotten too old to play those classic songs any more. Enter Get The Led Out, a Philadelphia based five-piece band that brings Zep’s albums to LIFE. These multi-instrumentalists use every tool at their disposal, recreating LZ’s albums in many ways that the original band never did live. It’s the next best thing to taking a time machine back to the 1970s – don’t miss Get The Led Out when they perform at the Barbara B Mann Performing Arts Hall here in Fort Myers!
