Anything Goes

New York’s Broadway may be the classic original, but it’s pretty cold there this time of year. Why not get the best of Broadway in the Florida sunshine instead? From February 16 to April 1, Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre presents Anything Goes, just a 20 minute drive away. Anything Goes is a cheeky and lively performance that is sure to light up your evening. Set on a ship, all rules and boundaries are tossed overboard as unlikely couples find true love, to the beat of tap dancing sailors and the tune of showy chorus girls. Oh, and some blackmail is also involved.

Starting as a family-run operation, the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre has been running for 24 seasons on the Gulf coast of Florida. It includes a late dinner theatre, a smaller “Off Broadway” theatre, a dining room called the Cafe Cabaret, and a small lounge called The Art Cafe.

All dinner menus at the Broadway Palm include a salad bar, desserts such as pies, cakes, and ice cream sundaes, and coffee and tea.

The show was developed based on a book originally by Guy Bolton and P.G. Wodehouse, and originally debuted in 1934 in Broadway, New York. Two movie adaptations have also been created, both featuring legendary American actor Bing Crosby.

If you loved the show, why not also rent the movie to watch with our free high speed wireless internet? Just look out of your ocean-view private balcony and pretend that you are out on the sea with your own sailors and chorus girls to serenade you. We promise we won’t tell!

If you want a little taste of Broadway in Florida, Anything Goes will be a perfect way to merge the stage of New York with the sand and surf of Fort Myers. Book your room with us here today or call 800-336-4045.
