The coming September is excellent evidence of this claim, as a pair of awesome, food-and-drink-centric events are scheduled to touch down in the region. Here are the details!
 

14^th Annual Tapa Hop | September 20

 
You’re probably pretty familiar with pub crawls: those awesome events that occur all over the world, and take you from bar to bar, to sample the beers, wines and cocktails of each. What you may not be familiar with, however, is the Tapa Hop: a staple of the Fort Myers Beach calendar, and an event no foodie should miss. Just like a pub crawl, Fort Myers Beach’s Tapa Hop will take participants from restaurant to restaurant. Instead of the typical focus on beverages, however, this event will focus on food, as participants will receive a delicious tapa-style dish at each stop—all of which will be included in the ticket price. 3^rd Annual Fort Myers Craft Beer Festival | September 24

 
On Saturday, September 24^th, take an easy drive up to The Marina at Edison Ford to enjoy Fort Myers’ annual Craft Beer Festival—returning this year for a third, triumphant time. With dozens of talented area brewers offering upward of 80 delicious craft brews, this is an event that no visiting beer enthusiast should miss.
