Truly Scrumptious - 7205 Estero Blvd

This place could not be better named – it really is truly scrumptious! They serve some great breakfast and lunch options, but we’re here to talk about ice cream and desserts – milkshakes, sundaes, Root Beer floats, more than 30 flavors of ice cream (with chocolate-dipped cones!) and homemade cakes of all kinds using secret family recipes. Convinced, yet? This decadent eatery is located in the Santini Marina Plaza at the south end of Estero Island.
 

Royal Scoop – 2307 Estero Blvd

A nice, 20-minute walk from our beachfront hotel, Royal Scoop dishes up more than 44 ice cream flavor choices, including sugar-free ice cream, frozen yogurt and sorbets. This charming parlor has been scooping up giant-sized cones, sundaes and milkshakes in Florida since 1979. Don’t worry about the calories – just walk to and from the shop from our hotel to burn off a cone’s worth.

Even closer to Best Western Plus Beach Resort, Kilwin’s Chocolates doesn’t just go with ice cream … this place is a master of all things chocolately, ooey and gooey, salty and sweet, smooth and crunchy. From the perfect caramel apple to the most decadent chocolate fudges, nut brittles, toffees and more, you’d better make sure you packed your toothbrush! Keeping things sweet since 1947, Kilwins is a must-visit chocolate parlor for any Estero Beach guest.
