March is shaping up to a great month in Fort Myers, with a number of events taking place that’ll make sure visitors and locals are kept well entertained as we head into the spring season. We have two great - albeit very different - stage productions taking place, a weekend of art, and a special performance from the Southwest Florida Symphony. A Classic Tale

You’ve got until March 11 to catch Christopher Sergel’s To Kill A Mockingbird at the Florida Repertory’s Historic Arcade Theatre. Extended due to popular demand, this stage production is an adaptation of Harper Lee’s much loved novel that explores racial inequality and innocence. A must see.

...And Now For Something Completely Different

If you like to keep things a little bit lighter when you’re on vacation, then perhaps you’ll the other performance that’s taking place at the Florida Repertory Theatre; though this time at the Artstage Studio Theatre. Shear Madness, America’s most beloved comedy theatre show, will be running all through March, right up until April 2.

Bonita Springs Art

Take just a short journey south of Fort Myers on March 4 - 5 and you’ll be able to see the much loved Bonita Springs National Art Festival. More than 200 artists will be showcasing their work, all in lovely surroundings. All in all, every art lover should be, which is one of America’s most popular art festivals.

Classical Music

The Southwest Florida Symphony will be bringing their esteemed talents to Sanibel’s Schein Hall on March 8 for an evening of classical guitar. The bill includes renditions of Joaquin Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez and Haydn’s The Clock and Mater. A classy evening that's not to be missed!
