Celebrate The Holiday Season On The High Seas!

The holiday season is almost upon us and here in Southwest Florida, we celebrate Christmas in our own special way — at the beach!

One of Fort Myer’s favorite seasonal traditions is the Fort Myers Beach Christmas Boat Parade. The annual event, held on December 5 from 6:00pm to 8:0pm, runs for the 29th time this year and fills the waterfront with boats decked out to the nines with lights, decorations, music, and just about anything else that conjures the Christmas spirit. Last year, the Fort Myers Beach Christmas Boat Parade featured over 30 boats and this year promises to be brighter and bigger than ever.

The parade’s route passes though Matanzas Harbor and the first two canals of Siesta Isles, making its way past various establishments where spectators can sit back and enjoy the show. If you want to watch, reserve a table at Bootleggers Waterfront Barbecue, Parrot Key Caribbean Gill, Matanzas on the bay, Nervous Nellies, Doc Fords, or Bonita Bills.
