A Symphonic Spring In Fort Myers

My Sinatra

This last installment of the Southwest Florida Symphony’s Pop Series this season is designed to evoke nostalgia. On March 12 at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall, in celebration of Frank Sinatra’s 100th birthday, the symphony will be performing the compositions that made Ol’ Blue Eyes famous. The concert will feature Cary Hoffman, the star of the PBS Special, My Sinatra. Hoffman will sing tunes like "That’s Life," "Fly Me To the Moon," and "New York, New York.” Tickets are available online.
 

American Virtuosi In Concert

On March 25 at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center, the American Virtuosi Chamber Concert will return for their seventh season to perform the music of the masters alongside the  some of the world’s leading concert artists. Amongst those featured include violinist Peter Winograd (first violinist with the American String Quartet), violinist Erin Keefe (concertmaster of the Minnesota Orchestra), concert cellist Andres Diaz, violists Cynthia Phelps, principal violist of the New York Philharmonic, and concert pianist Wendy Chen. A Soldier’s Tale 

The Southwest Florida Symphony presents the next round of concerts in its Small Stage Symphonies TM Series on March 22, 23, and 24 with A Solider’s Tale. Conducted by Southwest Florida Symphony’s music director, Maestro Nir Kabaretti, the symphony will open the program with Mozart’s Serenade No. 10 in B-flat major, K. 261, also known as the “Gran Partita.” The second half of the concert features a performance of Igor Stravinsky’s "A Soldier’s Tale.” The concert will be held at various locations. Find venue locations and ticket information here.
